Let’s Connect
FAQs
Choosing a therapist is a big decision. Here’s some clarity around what working with me looks like.
-
I love this question! The connection between you and your therapist is fundamental— the benefits of counseling depend on it. A therapist could have years of experience and the best training, but it might not be a good fit if you do not feel they can connect with you. As you speak with and read the websites of various therapists, ask yourself questions like: “Do I feel like I might be able to form a connection with this person?” and “Do I feel safe opening up to them?”
-
If you’ve looked around my website and are curious about working with me, schedule a 20-minute consult call so we can get acquainted. On the call, once we establish that both of us feel comfortable working together, we will establish a recurring weekly time for sessions going forward.

Sessions are 50 minutes and vary depending on your desires for this process. I often bring mindfulness techniques and different therapy modalities into the space, depending on what I feel might best fit you. I also want this to be a collaborative environment where you feel safe and comfortable, so feel free to give me feedback on what you do or don't appreciate about our time together.

My 50-minute sessions are $200
For couples who want to do a 90-minute intensive, the cost is $350
I do have sliding scale spots in my practice based on financial need; please feel free to inquire.

Because consistency is important in doing this work, we meet at the same time once a week. For the first 2-3 months. After that, if you want to adjust to every other week, etc., I support your choice in what is best for you.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know more than 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session.

I offer a limited number of in-person sessions at my office spaces in East Los Angeles as well as virtual therapy services.
-
I do not accept insurance, but I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you.

I recommend planning for at least 3-6 months for meaningful work to happen. This also depends greatly on what you, as the couple or individual, are bringing forth to the therapy. My goal is not to keep you in therapy forever. If/when you feel ready to transition to every other week or out of therapy I will support that process.
